Harvey "Benny" Benefiel

Harvey "Benny" Benefiel, age 91, of Noblesville, IN, died December 3, 2015 at Harbour Manor Care Center at Noblesville. He was born May 28, 1924 at Frankfort, IN to Earl Otis and Charlene Moriah (Ferguson) Benefiel. He had worked as a semi truck driver, often hauling grain. He had also worked at Bloom Paving and at Boggs Wrecker Service. Benny, as he was affectionately known, loved spending time in his garage with his grandsons. They called it tinkering in the garage, even fixing things that didn't need to be fixed. He married Elsie Martha (Bollman) Benefiel on December 30, 1944. She preceded him in death December 24, 2007. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters: Vinnie Crews, Ann Lieghe, and Emma Benefiel. Survivors include his daughter: Anna Marie Webb of Arcadia, IN, brothers: Fred Thomas Benefiel of Noblesville, John Robert Benefiel of Florida, Keith Vernon Benefiel of Frankfort, IN, George Nelson Benefiel of Florida, and Earl Kibby Benefiel of Jeffersonville, IN, grandsons: Eric Morrow of Noblesville, and Travis Bloom of Ft. Wayne, IN, great grandchildren: Bryce Morrow and Blake Bloom. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with burial to follow at Carey Cemetery north of Noblesville. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hartley Funeral Homes to assist the family.
