Georgia Kathern Denham

Georgia Kathern Denham, age 70, of Atlanta, IN died October 8, 2013 at her home with her family at her side. She was born December 14, 1942 at Tipton, IN to Hobart and Carmack (Dunning) Plumlee. She was a graduate of Tipton High School and of Beauty College. She soon opened Georgia's Beauty College in Atlanta, IN and ran it for 17 years. She attended Arcadia Christian Church. She loved reading her Bible and when her eyesight worsened she enjoyed having her family read the Scriptures to her. She was an avid reader and traveler, especially day trips. She was a great navigator as her husband was the driver. She also enjoyed acrylic painting, but most of all she cherished being with her family. She married Ray Denham who survives her. Also surviving is a son: Jonathan Ray Denham of Tipton, IN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Ray Denham, Jr. Private graveside rites will be held with interment at the Cicero Cemetery. Larry Kersey and John Knapp will conduct the services.
