Freida Jo Hiatt

Freida Jo Hiatt, age 83, of Noblesville, IN died September 12, 2013 at Sugar Grove Senior Living at Plainfield, IN. She was born October 2, 1930 at Arcadia, IN to Vernon Lee and Edith Estell (Herron) Ammerman.

She was a graduate of Arcadia High School. She had worked in her family's restaurant in Arcadia where she and her friends liked to dance and socialize. She then worked for Western Electric at Indianapolis for several years. After retiring from Western Electric she worked at Kenley's Supermarkets at Noblesville until they closed.

Freida loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. And she enjoyed eating and spending time in local restaurants as she did in her younger years in her family restaurant.

She married Ross Kenneth Hiatt who preceded her in death November 14, 1999. Her parents also preceded her in death.

Surviving her is a son: David Michael Hiatt of Noblesville, IN, brothers: Robert and Jerry Ammerman of Anderson, IN, grandchildren: Alison and Ryan Hiatt of Centerville, OH, and a
niece: Jamie Campbell of Monrovia, IN.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Neal Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the service at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
