Freddie Loy

Freddie Loy, Age 67, of Cicero, IN died July 25, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 3, 1947 at Jamestown, KY to James Robert and Addie Mae (Williams) Loy. He was a graduate of Anderson High School. He was a diesel mechanic, primarily keeping semi trucks in good running condition for the following companies: Kraft Foods, Ruan Leasing and lastly for Marsh Supermarkets. Freddie was a member of White River Christian Church at Noblesville, IN, Noblesville Sons of the American Legion, Noblesville Moose Lodge and the Noblesville Men's Auxiliary of the VFW. He greatly enjoyed interacting with his family, especially joking and teasing with his grandchildren. He married Mary Louise (Coverdale) Loy who survives him. Also surviving is a daughter: Amy Marie (Chad) Dunn, Arcadia, IN, sons: James Robert (Gina) Loy, Cicero, IN and Thomas Adam (Tracey) Loy, Cicero, IN, step-mother: Uldine Loy, Russell Springs, KY. Additional survivors include brothers: James McKinley, Morgan City, LA, Donnie McKinley, Noblesville, IN, Joe McKinley, Elwood, IN, sisters: Vie Curnett, Noblesville, IN, Pat Miles, Louisville , KY, and Sie Finnegan, GA, grandchildren: Kaylie Dunn, Jeff Martin, Jaysie Dunn, James Loy, Chris Loy, and Dreiken Dunn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Madison Dunn. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034. Burial will follow at the Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to White River Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
