Francis E. Baitz

Francis E. Baitz, age 77, of Atlanta, IN died November 28, 2010 at Tipton County Memorial Hospital. He was born June 19, 1933 near Atlanta, IN to Arthur Eugene and Ruth Magdaline (Langolf) Baitz.

Francis was a graduate of Jackson Central High School Class of 1951. He then served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a life-long farmer in the Atlanta, IN area.

He married Phyllis Anne (Chenoweth) Baitz on July 25, 1954. She survives him. Also surviving are two sons: Steve (Sandy) Baitz of Atlanta, IN, Greg (Jenny) Baitz of Ft. Wayne, IN, two daughters: Kathy (Ray) Adler of Atlanta, IN, Debbie (Claude) Spurgeon of Atlanta, IN, a brother: Eugene Baitz of Atlanta, IN, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Imogene Sloan.

Graveside rites will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Arcadia Cemetery with Rev. Mark Knapp officiating.
