Eva Elizabeth Burnham

Eva Elizabeth Burnham, age 96, of Tipton, IN and formerly of Arcadia, IN died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor at Tipton, IN. She was born December 17, 1914 at Coal City, IN to David Arthur and Dora Olen (Miller) Stantz. Eva was a homemaker and attended Cicero Christian Church with her family. She married James M. Burnham on June 21, 1935. He preceded her in death September 13, 1989. Surviving her is a daughter and her husband: Shirley (William) Carter of Arcadia, IN, grandchildren: Marie Carter of Noblesville, IN and Mindy Merriman of Lafayette, IN and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are two brothers and six sisters, a grandson: Mark Carter and a granddaughter: Theresa Lynn Carter. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Tim Lueking officiating, with burial to follow at the Arcadia cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
