Elaine Ruth Moore

Elaine Ruth Moore, age 84, of Noblesville, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor at Tipton, IN. She was born June 26, 1926 at Moline, Illinois to Raymond and Edith (Peterson) Headland.

She graduated from Moline Senior High School in 1944. Elaine worked for 15 years in the data processing department at Riverview Hospital. She then started Moore's Country Wood Crafting at Arcadia which she ran for several years. She enjoyed making crafts, painting, knitting, crocheting, gardening, bowling, but most of all interacting with her grandchildren. She was also a member of Victory Chapel Community Church.

Elaine married Robert D. Moore on December 3, 1966. He survives her. Also surviving are two sons: Robert David Moore of Arcadia, Jack L. Fogle of Noblesville, four daughters: Patricia Williams of Westfield, Vicki Cutforth of Bettendorf, Iowa, Brenda Mosbaugh of Noblesville, and Kemberly McDowell of Holderness, New Hampshire, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a sister: Marilyn Anthony.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Andrew Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery at Noblesville, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the services.
