Edward D. Meyer

Edward D. Meyer, age 73, of Cicero, IN died February 14, 2015 at I.U. Health Saxony at Fishers, IN. He was born July 23, 1941 at Paragould, Arkansas to Fredrick and Rachal (Douglas) Meyer. His parents preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Elston High School at Michigan City, IN. Edward then earned a BA Degree in Education and Political Science from Purdue University followed by a MA Degree in Business Administration from IU/PU at Ft. Wayne, IN. He had worked as a systems analyst for various companies for 36 years. He retired from Navistar at Indianapolis. Edward was a member of Cicero American Legion Post #341. He married Lynn Marie (Christopher) Meyer on March 26, 1966. She survives him. Additional survivors include two daughters: Charisse Johnson of Cicero, IN and Yvonne Reynolds of Howell, MI, a brother: August Meyer of St. Joseph, MI, a sister: Marthasue Bucksparg of Chesterton, IN and two grandchildren: Autumn Reynolds and Joshua Johnson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cicero American Legion, 50 Washington Avenue, Cicero, IN 46034. No services are planned at this time.
