Donald Keith Hunter

Donald Keith Hunter, age 77, of Arcadia, IN died July 1, 2010 at his home. He was born April 25, 1933 near Arcadia to Alvin Edward and Margaret Gwendolyn (Caylor) Hunter.

Don was a graduate of Walnut Grove High School Class of 1951. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in France during the reconstruction. He was employed at ABC Grain Company at Arcadia for ten years and worked for 31 years at Delco Remy at Anderson. He also was a master carpenter and assisted many people with remodeling and repairing their homes and barns.

He was a member of Omega Christian Church, the Noblesville Masonic Lodge, the Cicero American Legion and the UAW.

He married Nina Jean "Dolly" (Baber) Hunter on April 4, 1964. She survives him. Also surviving are two sons: Jim Hunter and wife Donna of Cicero, IN, Brian Hunter and wife Krystal of Cicero, IN, two daughters: Lee Ellen Graham and husband Tom of Atlanta, IN and Kristen Cebada of Terre Haute, IN, brothers: Robert Hunter of Cicero and David Hunter of Indianapolis, three sisters: Eileen Conaway of Cicero, Cora Lou McCoy of Cicero and Vonda Foster of Gainsville, MO, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death is a son: Robert W. Hunter and a brother: Joe Hunter.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Rev. Lee Mangold officiating.
Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Strawtown Community Church Food Pantry, Angel's Attic, or Sacred Heart Catholic Church Food Pantry.
