Donald John Becker

Donald John Becker, age 82, of Noblesville, IN, died December 5, 2014 at Harbour Manor Health & Living at Noblesville, IN. He was born March 29, 1932 at St. Louis, Missouri to John Jacob and Florence Lucille (Kirkowski) Becker. Donald was a graduate of Warren Central High School and the Indiana University School of Business. He also served his country in the U.S. Army. He had worked as an accountant, businessman and sales representative for various companies including Consumers Petroleum, Allison Division of General Motors, Alvord Oil, International Harvester, Omega Oil and Omega Personnel. Donald loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed radio-controlled airplanes, crossword puzzles, golfing and sports. He was preceded in death by his wife: Nira Jean (Goudreau) Becker, brothers: John Becker of Bowling Green, KY, James Q. Becker of Hollywood, FL, and his parents. Surviving him are three sons: Frederick Becker of Noblesville, IN, Sam (Bonnie) Becker of Shelbyville, IN, and Bill (Heather) Becker of Noblesville, IN, two daughters: Julie (Don) Cochrane of Noblesville, IN and Laurie (Jeff) Melton of Greenfield, IN, sisters: Betty Mattingly of Indianapolis, IN, Barbara Fritz of Medford, NJ; brother Bobby Becker of Hollywood, FL, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
