Diana Lynn Harvey

Diana Lynn Harvey, age 49, of Sheridan, IN died April 22, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospice at Indianapolis, IN. She was born May 11, 1964 at Northridge, California. She was a graduate of Cleveland High School at Northridge, CA in 1982 and of California State University where she earned degrees in Child Development and Business. She was a pre-school teacher and mortgage broker. Diana was a member of Northview Church at Carmel, IN and an active prayer warrior. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her family described her as always smiling, vibrant, happy and one who made friends easily. She loved working with children and was also an animal lover. She enjoyed gardening, especially planting and caring for her flowers. Diana was an avid reader and card player, usually winning at most games. She married Richard Wayne Harvey on May 24, 1986. He survives her. Also surviving her is her mother: Lorraine Janet Bixley of Elo, MI, sons: Nathan Everett Harvey and Jared William Harvey, both of Sheridan, IN, daughters: Rachel Roselynn (Paul) Durham of Kokomo, IN, Heather Elizabeth Harvey of Indianapolis, IN, and Leah Marie Harvey of Marion, IN.

In addition to her father, Edward William Grissom, she was preceded in death by a sister: Michele Katti. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Northview Church at Carmel, IN with Pastor Gary Sobol and Pastor Doug Kizer officiating. Burial will follow at Crown View Cemetery at Sheridan, IN. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harvey Children Education Fund, 429 East 246th Street, Sheridan, IN, 46069.
