David Tragesser

David Tragesser, age 73, of Tipton, IN died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at home surrounded by family. He was born November 16, 1939 near Tipton, IN to Paul Andrew and Lena Louise (Garst) Tragesser. His parents preceded him in death as well as several brothers and sisters.

He was the owner and manager of Tragesser Concrete Forms Company at Tipton, IN. He was known for his artistic work in designing concrete decks, driveways, ponds, patios and buildings and much more. He also owned Tipton Building Supplies Company.

Dave, as he was affectionately known, loved being with his family. He enjoyed his work, blue grass music, fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Helen Marie (Heron) Tragesser. Also surviving are the following children: Brent (Kindra) Tragesser of Tipton, IN, Tony (Shari) Hoover of Tipton, IN, Mick (Julie) Hoover of Arcadia, IN, Jeff (Paige) Hoover of Tipton, IN, Mindy (Dave) Mason of Cicero, IN, Andrea (Dan) Richter of Tipton, IN, Sabrina (Derrick) Robinson of Tipton, IN, and Deanna (Lawrence) Parks of Wilmington, NC. brothers: Mort Ogden and Mike Ogden of Tipton, IN, Sisters: Johanne Redelman of Fairland, IN, and Sally Evans of Freedom, IN, 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery at Tipton, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Tipton County, 541 West Jefferson, Street, Tipton, IN 46072.
