Darlene E. (Bridge) (Bridge) Smith

Darlene E. (Bridge) Smith, age 78, of Tipton, IN went to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on February 10, 2013. She was born at Ft. Wayne, IN on October 21, 1934 to the late Herbert and Bertha (Thiele) Linnemeier. She was also preceded in death by her son: Kevin Bridge, her grandson: Dusty Watson, her brother: Don Linnemeier, her husband: Richard Smith, her former husband: Irle Bridge, and her dear mother-in-law: Mildred Bridge.

Darlene is survived by three children: Cyndi (Rick) Watson of Noblesville, IN, Lisa Thomas of Evansville, IN and Kim Longoria of Selma, TX, granddaughters: Nancy (Tim) Crockett and McKenzie Thomas and Kendra Bridge, grandsons: Mitchell Mosbey, Lucas and Isaiah Longoria and Spencer Watson, great-grandchildren: Madison, Emily, Justin and Jake Crockett, sister: Marilyn Link and brother: Harold Linnemeier of Ft. Wayne, IN, several nieces and nephews and a dear friend: John Hayden of Mooresville, IN.

Darlene loved her family and enjoyed being with them and would do anything for you when she could. She enjoyed singing to the Lord even without accompaniment and loved greeting everyone that would pass her in the halls at Miller's Merry Manor. She will be missed by her family and friends, but there is peace and joy in our hearts knowing she is whole in the presence of the Lord and enjoying her friends and family that have already went Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Andrew Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Memorial Cemetery near Noblesville, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the service begins at 2:00 P.M.
