Carla Diane Hopper

Carla Diane Hopper, age 63, of Arcadia, IN passed away May 16, 2017 at Riverview Health at Noblesville, IN. She was born January 19, 1954 at New Castle, IN to Thomas Wendell and Wanita Irene (Ellis) Lee. She was a graduate of Southport High School with the Class of 1972. She had worked in food service and also with retail sales of clothing. She married Dennis Ray Hopper, whom she dearly loved and cherished, on December 4, 1980. She most enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends, and her family described her as being a wonderful mom, grandma and great-grandma to them. She loved to travel and collect various types of jewelry. She is survived by her husband, children: Dennis Hopper, Jr. and fiance` Michelle Swope, Amanda (Robby) Mathews, Kristy (Pete) Emkow, Michael (Sara) Hopper, Craig (Julie) McKay, Sara (Jason) Dahl, and T.J. (Michaelle) Hopper. Additional survivors are grandchildren: Brooke, Logan, Alli, Evan, Autumn, Brad, Nick, Gage, Maci, Graeson, Braden, Kaitlyn, Jason, Hunter, Charlee Joy, Ashlee Ann, Kiera, Kennedy, Kaylee, Connor, Ashley, Maddison, Destiny Ray, three great grandchildren: Cameron, Liam, and Bryson, and two sisters: Tommi Hunt of Spiceland, IN and Dorothy (Sam) Miller of TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Thomas Wendell Lee, Jr. Services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with Pastor Larry Stoops officiating.
