Brian Joseph "Hawk" Kahrs

Brian Joseph "Hawk" Kahrs of Pensacola, Florida, but formerly of Arcadia and Tipton, died May 24, 2010 at his home. He was 49. He was born April 15, 1961 to Frederick and Ruth Kahrs.

He was a construction worker and had worked at various locations throughout the midwest. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving him is a son: Tyler Howe, and four daughters: Shawnda Serber, Krista Stansberry, Tequila Gettleman and Brandi Marchbank, a sister: Dawn Keiser, 8 Grandchildren, step-sisters: Susan Childs, Sally Lewis, and Kimberly Lilly and good friend: John Phifer of Atlanta, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Kahrs and his step mother: Dorothy Kahrs.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Arcadia Chapel with Rev. Lee Mangold officiating.
Burial will follow at the Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the services.
