Bobby Ray Deel

Bobby Ray Deel, age 80, of Arcadia, IN died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Cicero, IN. He was born December 21, 1935 at Bowling Green, KY to James Dallas and Willie Adele (Hitson) Deel, Sr. He was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School at Indianapolis, IN. Most of his adult life Bob was a sales representative for National Chem Search Corporation. He had also worked in sales with other related companies. He was a member of Omega Christian Church, Audabon Society, Indiana Landmarks, and the National Conservancy. He worked a crossword puzzle every day, played serious euchre, loved to read, and was an avid fisherman. He married Mona Jane (Hartley) Deel on September 5, 1958. She preceded him in death December 10, 2008. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James D. Deel. Jr. Surviving him is his fiance', Marina King of Arcadia, IN, a son: Aaron B. Deel of Hiaku, HI, and a daughter: Cynthia Ann Parrish of Carmel, IN. sister: Betty Jean (William) Easterling of Gallatin, TN, grandchildren: Nicholas Deel, Matthew, Jason and Beth Parrish, great-grandchildren: Anna, Dylan, Emma, Logan, and Ryann Parrish and care giver: Bobbie Sexton. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, 46034, with Pastor Neal Brown officiating.
