Bobby E. Biggs

Bobby E. Biggs, 82, of Arcadia, IN, died January 18, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor at Tipton, IN. He was born May 27, 1932 to Joe and Frankie (Johnson) Biggs at Pennington Gap,Virginia. He was a graduate of Pennington Gap High School. Upon moving to Indiana, he became employed at Noblesville Casting Company where he worked for 36 years. He then worked for 10 years at Steel Parts Company at Tipton. Leisure time found him in his woodworking shop. Bobby also enjoyed hunting. He first married Ann (Stapleton) Biggs who preceded him in death. Later he married Judy Pennington Biggs on January 11, 1985. She survives him. Additional survivors include a daughter: Brenda (Steve) Emerick and a son: Donnie (Diana) Biggs, step-daughter: Gerri Henderson, step-sons: Kevin McCord, Wally Pennington and Ed Pennington, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by his sons: Robert Allen and David Biggs, brothers: Joe, Jr., Jim, Doug and Tom Biggs. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, January 30, 2015 at Hartley Funeral Homes Arcadia Chapel with Pastor Lee Mangold officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
