Beverly Sue Parker

Beverly Sue Parker, age 62, of Atlanta, IN died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her home. She was born August 3, 1950 at Noblesville, IN to Ted and Mary Ellen (Dick) Lockwood. She was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School, then served her country in the U.S. Air Force. She had worked at the Noblesville and Arcadia Post Offices and had also assisted her mother at Mary Ellen's Harvest Room Restaurant at Arcadia, IN. Beverly was a collector of Hallmark Ornaments, Beanie Babies and especially Barbie Dolls. She was recently featured and interviewed on Channel 13 for her many collections. She married Paul Allen Parker who survives her. Also surviving is her mother: Mary Ellen Lockwood of Atlanta, IN, daughters: Cari Bledsoe of Arcadia, IN and Lori Lovell of Atlanta, IN, brothers: Jerry Lockwood of Atlanta, IN and Tom Lockwood of Atlanta, IN, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her father, Ted Lockwood and a great-granddaughter, Lillian Bledsoe preceded her in death. She was a member of Arcadia Church of the Brethren where her funeral service will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Ben Poole will officiate. Burial will occur at Arcadia Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
