Betty Jean Kaiser

Betty Jean Kaiser, age 81, of Cicero, IN died April 16, 2014 at Riverview Hospital at Noblesville, IN. She was born April 21, 1932 at Cicero, IN to Ralph and Mary (Johnson) Mayfield. She attended Jackson Central High School. Betty was a homemaker and greatly enjoyed being with her family. She also enjoyed fishing, crafting, playing Scrabble and all card games. She as an avid Colts and Peyton Manning Fan. She married Keith W. Kaiser on September 16, 1949. He preceded her in death May 18, 2013. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild and two sisters: Mary Ann Leach and Phyllis Dill. Surviving her is a son: Steven (Beth) Kaiser of Kokomo, IN, two daughters: Diana (Jay) Brown of Atlanta, IN and Tammy Ann Kaiser of Cicero, IN, a sister: Rachel (Chuck) Ross of Cicero, IN and two brothers: Ralph "Pete" (JoAnn) Mayfield of Cicero, IN and David (Sharon) Mayfield of Cicero, IN, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Scott Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
