Betty Joan Arnold

Betty Joan Arnold, age 91, of Noblesville, IN and formerly of Cicero, IN died Friday, June 28, 2013 at her home. She was born July 28, 1921 at Noblesville, IN to Carl Bryan and Jessie (Cook) Plain. Her parents preceded her in death.

Betty was a graduate of Cicero High School with the Class of 1939. She then attended a business college. She had worked for many years as an accountant for P.W. Jackson Company at Indianapolis, IN. She was a member of Cicero Eastern Star.

She married Vernon Earl Arnold on August 21, 1943. He was a pilot in the Army Air Corps and his plane was shot down over Germany April 29, 1944, the date of his recorded death.

She is survived by several cousins.

Graveside rites will be held Monday, July 1, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Cicero Cemetery with Scott Miller officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County.
