Barbara Sue Harrison

Barbara Sue Harrison, age 75, of Sheridan, IN passed away peacefully January 3, 2018 at Maple Park Village at Westfield, IN. She was born December 14, 1942 at Washington, IN to Earl Woodrow and Dorothy Evalyn (Cassell) Williams. She was a graduate of Plainville High School and worked clerical jobs, lastly working for several years at Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Company at Indianapolis, IN. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, baking, visiting casinos and going to movies at the Tipton Theater. After retiring she also enjoyed vacationing with her brother and sister. And she loved being grandma and great-grandma. Surviving her is a daughter: Scynthia Rene (Danny) Yates of Sheridan, IN, sons: Rodney Harrison of Indianapolis, IN and Jeffrey (Kristi) Harrison of Houston, TX, brother: Dannie Williams of Vincinnes, IN, sister: Jacque Gatewood of Noblesville, IN, grandchildren: Kayla, Ashley, Rain, Corbin and Keegan Harrison, Jessie Espino, Shon Clear, Jenni Brantz and Alex Milbourn, great-grandchildren: Gavin Espino and Emberly Harrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Williams and a daughter-in-law: Darlene Harrison. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with Pastor Angela Gafford Asmus officiating.
