Arthur Richards

Arthur Richards, age 90, of Arcadia, IN died Sunday March 13, 2011 at his home. He was born July 1, 1920 at Lake City, Michigan to Louis and Winona (Carr) Richards.

Mr. Richards was a graduate of Andrews Academy and also of Andrews University at Berrien Springs, Michigan. He then served his country in the U.S. Army, 31st Medical Group during ww II. His tour of duty placed him in the Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes and Rhineland battles and campaigns.

He was an accountant working at Worthington Foods at Worthington, Ohio for many years. He was a member of the Cicero Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He married Sibyl Estelle (Partain) on July 18, 1954. She survives him. Also surviving is a daughter: Mary Ann Smith of Arcadia, IN and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son: John Richards.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. April 9, 2011 at the Cicero Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will take place at a later date at Kingwood Memorial Park at Lewis Center, Ohio.
